STRABAG Umwelttechnik GmbH - STRABAG Umwelttechnik GmbH signs a cooperation Agreement with Indian Velankani Group

<font size="2" face="Arial">The Dresden based business unit for plant engineering and construction of STRABAG Umwelttechnik GmbH (SUT) signed an agreement with the Indian Velankani Group for the cooperation and knowledge transfer in the field of state-of-the-art solid waste treatment in November 2016. Being established in Bangalore in 1999, this diversified group is engaged in Information Systems and Technology, Electronics, Infrastructure Development, Hospitality, Renewable Energy and Environmental Technology. Velankani Group covers business entities namely Velankani Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Velankani Earth One Pvt. Ltd. and Earth One GmbH.<br>

With a population of 1.2 billion inhabitants, there is a large potential market in India with considerable backlog demand for waste treatment which offers great opportunities for customized solutions out of STRABAG’s broad technology portfolio.
