Dry digestion in large STRABAG LARAN® plug flow digester
<font size="2" face="Arial">ATZWANGER AG, a plant engineering company based in Bolzano, awarded STRABAG Umwelttechnik GmbH with engineering, supply, installation and commissioning of the mechanical and electrical equipment for the two bio waste digestion plants in Anzio and Carpi. Both plants are dry digestion systems with a STRABAG LARAN® plug flow digester. After the already completed biogas plant in Tuscania, STRABAG already realizes the third plant in Italy in technology partnership with ATZWANGER.</font> <p><font size="2" face="Arial">The plant in Carpi will process approx. 41,000 t/a bio waste in a LARAN® plug-in flow digester TF2800, the plant in Anzio will process approx. 40,000 t/a bio- and green waste in a TF2600.</font><br> <br> <font size="2" face="Arial">STRABAG Umwelttechnik is continuing with the two new orders the successful cooperation in Italy with ATZWANGER in the field of STRABAG's own continuous dry digestion technology.</font>
